planning, development, delivery and support of end-to-end technology solutions which
deliver measurable business value and positive transformational results to clients.
Our consulting team is looking to add experienced, highly productive, technically
strong Java developers for a client project which will include enhancements to an
existing enterprise Java application and development of a new public-facing web
application that will leverage an existing framework and multi-tier architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and creation of application design documents
- Enhance existing applications and development of new applications
- Provide timely and accurate answers to domain and application specific questions
- As part of a development team, perform unit and system testing
- Facilitate effective knowledge transfer via preparation of technical and operational
guides, transition documents, and deployment instructions
- Assist with deploying applications to production
- Provide transition services to facilitate effective transition of application support
to the application management team
Qualifications and Experience
- Computer Science Degree or Computer related College Diploma
- Minimum four (4) years of experience with the following:
- J2EE systems
- JSP/Servlet, JavaScript, Java RMI, EJB, HTML, and XML
- Web application development leveraging Hibernate, Spring, and Struts frameworks
- Websphere and Apache
- Rational Application Developer for Websphere
- DB2 relational database management system
- AIX operating system
- Agile application development methodology
