Network Engineers
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communications
skills capable of leveraging a breadth of knowledge in networking, protocols,
and equipment to interact with a highly interdisciplinary group of technical
engineers, customers, suppliers, and management. The candidate has proven
experience in designing, implementing and debugging network architectures with
emphasis on leading design and development of new and evolving network architectures.
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with:
- IP and related protocols, security aspects (hardware and software firewalls, intrusion detection systems, network protocols etc.)
- Application layer protocols (HTTP, SSL, Telnet, SSH, SCP, FTP, TFTP, RSH, SNMP, SMTP etc.)
- DHCP, DNS, Email Server, FTP Server etc.
- WAN, VPN, Firewall Security
- Designing, implementing and maintaining secure networks
- Responsible for equipment selection and interoperability qualification
- Drive networking architectures, IP addressing schemes, and equipment selection assistance for Apptius customers. Provide pre-sales technical expertise in the design, vendor selection, and interoperability analysis
- On-going support and debugging of deployed networks
- Demonstrated experience delivering professional services to customers
Qualifications:
- Technical College or University education or equivalent IT and related training
- MCSE Certification
- CCNP/CCIE Certification
- Superior customer facing skills
- Strong process development skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team player with the ability to maintain excellent working relationships with customers and vendors
